A Poem Of My Life

When I passed my SSC with flying color
Everyone was praising me for my endeavor
They said you should keep your goals clear
And leave behind all the fear
The best way to live in this world dear
Is to become an engineer
What were the priorities of life I couldn’t foresee
I started the preparation of IIT JEE
There was a good reward of my knowledge
I got admission in a good engineering college
Life was cool, placement was for sure
There was nothing to worry about anymore
I realized the different dimensions of life
I cut my day into different pieces with a knife
Some part for sports , some parts for fun
For studies I was left with none
After four years I got a job of 5 lakh
Now there was nothing to look back
s/w jobs in the beginning thrilled
but after few years my fun got killed
I realized this field is not a god’s grace
I shouldn’t have come to this place
I thought a lot and started to pray
Oh God! Please get me into an MBA
After a few days I thought I was no fool
See now I am into a B- School
Such a nice crowd in the college I must admire
We are the best, set the whole world on fire
In Stats we rocked, in Accounts we got screwed
Engineers are not always the best, it got proved
Then came the summer placement day
To shortlist no1 knows companies follow which way
Could not help a pray to the almighty
There is no brand value of IIT or NIT
I could have rocked I could be a bomb
Instead of engineering If I would have done a B Com
All my efforts to add points in my CV is wasted
In so many companies I am not shortlisted
Please pray to god to give companies the ultimate “Gyaan”
Not all the engineers are 5 point someone’s Ryan
I promised to rock, I promised to roll on
But now I have become a vagabond
Now I am cursing with each passing day
Why i took a decision to go for an MBA
